From spiritually focused events to crazy activities, there’s always lots going on at BCA! These events strengthen our community and allow students to make a ton of fun memories with their friends. Here’s a quick look at some of our main events throughout the school year.  

Grad retreat

Grads, kick off your final year with a weekend retreat to Dallas Valley Ranch Camp. This event gives the you an amazing opportunity to bond with your grad class away from campus.

Harvest party 

Dress up in a costume and have a ton of fun hanging out with your friends at the annual Harvest party. 

Christmas gala banquet

You’ll enjoy getting dressed up again for our formal Christmas banquet for students and staff. Together, we enjoy a dinner and an evening full of activities. 

Grade 12 ski trip 

Each year, the grad class goes on a ski trip to Fernie, BC! Grade 12 students have the opportunity to spend a few days skiing or snowboarding in the mountains, hanging out, and enjoying time with friends. 

Spiritual emphasis week

Each semester, we have a week filled with chapel and worship sessions. This allows and encourages our students to take time in the midst of the busyness of life to focus in on their spiritual growth. 

Youth Quake

Every year, Briercrest hosts 1800+ attendees from across the country for Saskatchewan’s largest annual youth retreat! BCA students have the opportunity to take part in this weekend full of top-notch teaching, worship, concerts, crazy activities, among many other things. Students’ YQ entry is covered in their student fees. 

Spring Sadie 

Girls, this is your opportunity to ask the guys out for a coffeehouse evening where you’ll enjoy music, entertainment, snacks, and relaxing.

Cheesecake café

Comedy, singing, lip syncing, dance… whatever your talents may be, you have the opportunity to share them from the stage at this annual dessert night. 

Student Leadership Council 

The Student Leadership Council (SLC) is a chance for you to help provide student leadership to BCA. The SLC plans a lot the events for the student body, many of them listed above, and through the SLC, students develop leadership and interpersonal skills by working as part of a team. If you enjoy coming up with events and want to be involved in providing student leadership to the school, SLC might be a great fit for you!
